Ok... this will seem meaningless to most of you but...for those who know a little about the Mesu and Gil story sage... here's an unbelievable update, heh.

So I've been working on this story (Mesu and Gil's) to illustrate a comic with for about a year and a half now, right... I used to work on it during down times at work, as well as at home. I would e-mail myself copies eventually, but most times, would carry it on USB and transfer the updated version to my house.

About 6 months ago, however... at a vernissage, my USB key was lost, before I could transfer my day's work to my home computer, resulting in the loss of about 100 or so pages of storyboarding.

I hadn't touched the story since, because I didn't have the motivation to re-write everything. (We're talking like... 3-4 chapters here, that I lost.)

So recently, I decided to continue from the point I lost the text... because if I EVER want to have a comic done, I have to have a finished story first. I don't care if the story is shitty or has plotholes... but as long as it's FINISHED, I can have some sort of objective, to draw. Point is, I hadn't worked on it in months, and started thinking about it again.

Then, today.... I realized that, UNLIKE Hotmail, which I used more often... G-mail SAVES EVERYTHING YOU SEND YOURSELF. So I checked... just on the OFF-chance that I might have sent myself a snippet of text I wouldn't have to re-write on G-Mail, though I typically used Hotmail.

.......and there it was. Scrolling down the list of e-mail addressees.. I see: "to me"... entitled: "SB3"......................Storyboard 3.... IE: the third, and most recent version.

All of it.

ALL 156 pages of it.

I almost cried. In fact, I might have wet myself, just a little.

Thank you Google.... THANK YOU.

(I almost called this journal :"F**K Jesus, G-MAIL Saves!!!" But then I realized that might offend some of you, and Jesus. But I mean, I think even He'd be happy for me right now. But Jesus or not, there definately IS a GOD. <Oh, and don't be offended, please. I'm kidding around, I respect Christians, Buddhists, Hindu, Jews, Muslims, Raelians, Oreos, whatever, lol. In fact, I've never felt so religious in my life, right now >
