The feminist side in me questions the nature of their seemingly male-controlled relationship and how legitimate a role model Bella really is to young women everywhere.
The hormonal 15 year old in me SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEES LIKE A FANGIRL ON MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF E AND AMPHETAMINE COCKTAILS!! OMGWTFLOLLLZZZ
I'd say the teenaged fangirl wins.
(This took me forever, and I don't even want to get into how much trouble I had with Sir Glares Alot's f**king face. But anyway. ) I put this in traditional art because my coloring base is always markers, followed by photoshop editing. I wish there was some sort of mixed category. (didn't there used to be?)
I tried to give Edward a bit of a snarl, but it didn't quite work... so ignore his dangling lips, hahahaha. The idea was that someone caught them like this... though they're both SOOoo into each other that they don't much care. Or something. *is desperately trying to excuse another boring portrait* LOOK!! HE'S SHINEH
Anyhow, I hope you fans like it. cheerio!
*sigh*.... I have a bad feeling about this one. oh well.
What do you have a bad feeling about it for? This is an excellent piece! It's very well done and thought out and, in my mind at least, you can see the "you caught us, so what?" look. I say it's a job well done!
And I have to agree with you. My internal editor ripped all the novels to shreds, claimed it had read better fanfic, and utterly made a mockery of the series--
And yet I read them like a emotional thirteen year old, enraptured, haha. So no worries

Though in the series, I cannot stand Bella's character. I find her completely ignorant of her surroundings (minus the Cullens/Edward), OCD (everything is always about Edward or the Cullens), and just down right annoying. I can only take so much of her character before I have to put the book down. I like Jacob a lot though. He, Alice, and Edward make the books so much better.
Though I do like the way you approached this picture. *fangirl jump again*
Thanks a lot! True Blood is such an awesome show! I highly recommend it! If you're into the Undead, it's sure to be an instant love! It's a bit raunchy though, so be aware. (Definitely R-Rated)
I love Jason Stackhouse! He just cracks me up! I haven't read the books yet, but I fully intend to.
Ha! Yeah, I hear ya on that! Busy, busy, busy...
