EDIT (5/04/2005): OK HERE YOU GO!!! HERE ARE YOUR PUPILS, DAMN YOU!!!!! lol Just kidding. A lot of people pointed out the previous lack of pupils on this image.. Personally, it was a matter of preference not to put them in, just to make them look more... soul-less.. like I dunno.. mythological creatures. And also, I suck at making pupils look normal. But here you go.
Hehe... This is much better on the full view...
Taking a small break from the realism-oriented pieces I've been doing lately. I drew this honestly for the sheer joy of coloring it. I mean, Sailor Moon hasn't got much, substance-wise... but damn, I was attracted to the show partially for the PRETTY SHINY RAINBOW COLORS!!!! Heheh... I love how vivid these turned out... I'm actually pretty happy with it. The lineart and coloring was done in prismalcolors and other markers. SO DON'T ASK ME IN THE COMMENTS, BECAUSE I WON'T ANSWER YOU!! I get that all the time.. pple just DON'T read the description... pisses me off, lol. Anyway lol, self-righteous aggravation aside, lol, I did a bit of lighting in photoshop, as well as a border. And there are a lot of mistakes... when I was inking Mars.. I was lying in my bed, at an odd angle.. so one of her eyes is like... way bigger than the other, and yeah. This thing has been lying around for a long while, and I did bits and pieces of it here and there, whenever I had free time, lol.
Oh yeah, and the title "Supakuru" is an inside joke between a few friends of mine. It's the "Engrish" word for "sparkle".. which we've always asssociated with Sailor Moon. TRADEMARK ME AND MY FRIENDS, OK??? lol. Anyway... I hope at least some moonies will like this, because I'm pretty sure it's going to burn off everyone else's retinas, lol.
Heh.. the no pupils thing is a matter of stylistic preference, I had to admit. But anyway.. Took me about erm.. maybe 12 hours total... on anf off. Thanks.

You make the Sailor Moon girls look so much cooler, the way you draw them... I'm ashamed of myself but I'm obsessed with them!
