Woohoo, my first official submission since I've been back, aheh.

I started this a long time ago... mostly as an anatomy study. I got the pose from this book I have, if some of you recognize it... and I just went a little nuts with it.

I'm sort of ambivalent about this one... there's something about it that I like very much, and something about it that I really hate. I think it's the gaping hole in the middle of the composition that's bothering me... but I already thought that the sky took too much away from the figure, so I didn't want to add anything further. Also, my coloring clearly needs work: her skin looks SO plastic, despite hours of desperate tweakage. I'll figure it out someday, I guess...

However, I do like the softish coloring I was able to do... It's still very naive... but I sorta like it.

If anyone has any ideas for a better title, PLEASE, for the love of all things holy, let me know. Oh.. speaking of holy... this piece isn't particularly religious, to me anyway, though I'm absolutely not opposed at all to anyone getting that vibe from it. I'm not into Christianity that much, nor do I usually draw angels in a religious context, so this is more of a fantasy thing for me.

Anyway... I hope you guys like it. More to come on the anime front, soon.

ps: I know the feathers are t3h lame. But I'm working on them. Or... I will, when I have the time. Aheh. ^^;

Excellent work. It's soft and crisp. And it's ncie that it can be pulled toward a religious context, or fantasy n_n. It's not so easy to pull off =3. It just depends on the viewer~:heart:! Anyway, nice job here. ^_^ It's delicate. I'd leave more, but lethargy is a curse. <3

gorgeous... beautifully done! the feeling to this peice is so... lovely... i think its neat how there is that faint feather off in the top left hand corner. i also really love the sketch affect. n_n very nicely done. *squeee* im so glad your'e back!! even though i said that already...

nice anatomy's really nice!, as for your whole drawing, i find that the character looks so realistic, and the backfround.foreground, seem a little cartoon. plus, the figure looks sketchy, and everything else soft, wich
sorta breaks the unity of the picture. however, i love the soft colors, and just the whole picture layout in
general is awsome!

I think that this is beautiful.. though what you said about the skin is quite true. Well.. the composition and bg are so awesome that little mistakes don't matter. :D
