Yet another marker piece.. though I felt this one merited being more in the digital art section because I added the background and the lighting digitally, on photoshop.
Anyway, this is a piece for two friends of mine, to thank them for all their help on a recent trip I took.  There are a couple of inconsistencies in the faces... I tried to make them look realistic, but the anime style in me just doesn't wanna leave completely. The coloring on this one was also very difficult, due to the fact that in the photograph I based this on, the two references were dressed entirely in black.. so the shadows and folds are almost improvised here. LAlso, I screwed up on the nose on the figure on the right... the angle was tough for me... *sigh oh well. I'll get better next time, I guess. Anyway... yeah. Enjoy. (By the way, the the translation of the full title is: Twins on the hunt. *Just because I thought it had that kind of feeling to it.) |
