I've been in an artistic slump lately... and was feeling quite unmotivated, due to the current situation here on D.A. as well as my lack of inspiration these days. Yup, I was feeling quite crappy when I logged in about a week ago, and just out of the blue, I got this really nice little note from a random someone that turned it around some. It didn't quite cure my artistic ailments 100%, but it sure lifted my spirits, I can tell you that. This deviant just reminded me of how much I used to love Escaflowne, having just watched it herself, and mentionned that she had enjoyed my old Esca stuffs. It was just a nice thing to read, and it made me feel nostalgic.. .and I figure, what better way to cure inspiration constipation than by trying to respond to a random act of kindness, through fanart, hehe. ^_^ Anyway, nothing too complicated here, not a perfect pic by far...but it's from the heart, and I humbly dedicate it to ~DawnFire84, who unknowingly restored a little bit of my faith in the Deviantart community, as well as tugged at an old anime heartstring, hehe.
