Bwehheheh... fooled you with the title, no? You thought I was posting some old school videogame fanart, eh? (kidding)
Anyway... This is something I worked on the other day... I wanted to make a logo-ish sort of image, featuring the two versions of Nimbus... his dragon and human selves. I've made a similar image before, but it was outdated, so I tried this one on for size.
I started with my usual marker base... and added some smoothness, shadows, highlights and a background digitally. But the original colors are still there, and markers are more prevalent in this piece than PC, which is why I put it in traditional art (I think). Though I'm still never sure where to put my stuff, most of the time, heheh. ^_^ I liked using bold colors this time, with stronger lines than usual. Was experimental and fun. Anyway, it's a very simple pic, but I hope you like it.

The blending of the colors is what sticks out to me as it accentuates the great job you did having each figure flow into one another.
The warm colors and your use of blacks and line weight really give it a sense of depth. The detail work is excellent and gives a great sense of expression but does not overpower the piece.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!

Lurk low, fly high, hunt brave, hide wise, blink warm, stare cold, play young, look beyond, crouch short, strut tall, act big, sleep small, what am I?

A piece to be proud of for sure.
