My mom thought this comic was degrading to women.
Actually... it's only degrading to me, mweheheh. Because of what she had said, I hadn't finished it, despite my having started it over a year ago. This is based on real conversations I had with my good friend ~SamuelHans... I used to waste my time worrying about his study habits. But it turns out all nerds are geniuses, so I was wasting my time. Might as well cash in on it, no?  Anyway, we both look very different now, than in the comic. He has that long "bishmo" (as he puts it) AZN hairdo now. And I.. well.. still have curly hair. Aheh. And still wear hoodies. But different ones. Because I wash them. And... sometimes buy new ones. Anyway. Cheers, y'all. It's been a while, and it's good to be back. ^_^ |

While it is true that all nerds are geniuses (And I should know... *e-ego in full swing*) all nerds are also unmotivated. Simply put, we aren't swayed by ordinary competition. Why go for 100% on a test when 85% will get you the same end result? (a job in a particular career) Actually, doing better will only hurt you in the long run. See, work is exponential. The more work you do, the more people expect you to do. People always EXPECT you to do more work than you actually will. Thus, if you keep your actual work level around "adequate," you'll only leave your expectations at "above average."
As an example, I have a chemistry final tomorrow. I could be studying for it, and work real hard to get a great grade. But so what? It's not going to affect my final college experience in any significant way. Thus, the way I am now, I make money and I goof off. It's the most efficient way to live!
...At least, I think it works this way. But I'm not motivated enough to do a study on it.
Also, if I ever become rich, you can have a Porsche. But only a blue one!
